3D Digital Mammography

A 3D mammogram, or digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT), is an advanced imaging technique that captures multiple X-ray images of the breast from various angles, creating detailed layered images. This technology enhances the detection of breast cancer, particularly in women with dense breast tissue, while also reducing false positives and the need for unnecessary biopsies. The procedure is similar to a traditional mammogram, involving minimal discomfort and taking about 15-30 minutes. By providing clearer and more comprehensive evaluations of breast abnormalities, 3D mammography significantly improves early detection and treatment outcomes, making it a vital tool in breast cancer screening. This machine offers the first breast tomosynthesis technology with proven superior clinical performance to 2D mammography. All Mammographies are conducted on walk in basis, without any prior appointment. We have experienced female technologists who efficiently perform the mammogram from 8am to 4pm.
